(The Good Shepherd)
In you alone O Lord we shelter,
You give us all we need and lead us,
On paths of righteousness we follow,
As you restore our souls in You
You are the good shepherd
and the good shepherd
Lays us down in pastures green.
To you alone we look for mercy,
Though we had gone astray you found us:
And took upon yourself our darkness,
The Lamb of God was slain for us
You are the good shepherd
and the good shepherd
Lays his life down for his sheep.
In You alone O Lord,
In You alone O Lord we put our trust
Even in the shadow of death;
In you alone O Lord,
In You alone O Lord we put our trust
And you will never leave us, you will not abandon,
We are yours eternally.
To you alone O Lord we listen,
And follow you for life in fullness,
Let riches not distract, nor worries,
Lord, may our lives be filled with You
You are the good shepherd
and the good shepherd
Lays a table for our joy.
In You alone O Lord,
In You alone O Lord we have true joy
Even when our foes surround us;
In you alone O Lord,
In You alone O Lord we have true joy
And you will keep on blessing us, the cup of joy will
Overflow eternally.
In you alone we have assurance,
No condemnation now in You Lord,
And you are coming back to take us
To our eternal home with You
You are the good shepherd, and the good shepherd
Lies no longer in the grave.
You are the good shepherd, and the good shepherd
Will return to take us home.
In You alone O Lord,
In You alone O Lord we have a hope
Which will not be disappointed;
In You alone O Lord,
In You alone O Lord we have a hope
And we will dwell within your house, forever with You;
We will praise eternally.
To You alone O Lord,
To You alone O Lord we lift our praise
From our hearts, so full and thankful;
To You alone O Lord,
To You alone O Lord we lift our praise
For you are holy, holy, holy,
glorious and worthy,
Reigning powerful,
loving endlessly
How can it be that Jesus died
That we may be with you forever
How can it be that Jesus died
That we may sing your praise eternally.
